Focus on your environment
We live in an increasingly complex and fast-moving world that seems to be coming apart at the seams. Those who look at the big picture quickly lose sight of it and lose confidence. It doesn’t help to get lost in the global news battles neither. Returning to one’s own work and living environment can reduce complexity and create familiarity and often provides shelter.
Hang in there and stay fit
We all have enough of almost 2 years of the pandemic. It has changed us, made us more selective, more focused, but also more insecure and suspicious. Hanging in is becoming more and more difficult. That makes it all the more important to keep ourselves physically and mentally fit. So make space for mental and physical exerise every day, even it is only for half an hour or less.
Give time time
Sometimes many circumstances come together in life – in a good sense and bad. This can quickly overwhelm us and the people arround us and create anxiety, envy and overwhelm. With a sense of proportion, find the right moment between gas pedal and brake, even if this means a little extra time. You don’t change your world overnight. Sometimes you should not force it and better wait patiently for what is to come.
Learn to say goodbye
The hardest of all for many of us. Especially in times when everything seems confusing and threatening, we like to cling to the last blade of grass, even if it has already withered. Sure, starting over is always hard, but we forget that we are starting from a different base. And remember – life is a journey and not a boat swing.
Stay curious and start new adventures
It is especially important now to stay curious and to get involved in life. In times of upheaval, many opportunities are hidden. That’s why we should stay open, even if we would rather close up. This is the only way to overcome crises and initiate new adventures.
